About
That little 10-year-old girl with the big bow in her hair in the photo to the left is me way back in 1974. It was my very first professional production. I was playing Amaryllis in The Music Man at Swift Creek Mill Playhouse. I got paid $5.00 a show, and I did 4 shows a week. The money didn't matter, I would have done it for free. It was one of the most influential experiences of my life because it started me on a journey that I still walk today. 1974 was a long time ago, but I remember it like it was yesterday because I was thrilled to be on stage and acting.
Over the last 50 years I have acted in more than 35 productions, directed 5 shows, and even costumed a few. Through the entire journey I have never stopped learning and growing. I won't go into all of my experience here, you can peruse the site at your leisure and see all of my credentials, but what they won't tell you is the extreme passion I have for acting, and the incredible gift I have of helping others realize their true potential. I can't wait to work with you as we discover it together.
I first have to say it has been an honor working with Terri. I believe fate brought us together because not only is she the most talented person I have met, but also her acting techniques are absolutely thought provoking. She has transformed me into a better actor, magician, and most importantly a better person. We have worked together on audition material, stage presence, and
character preparation. Additionally, she has helped with further development of my magic persona and performance. She is more than a teacher, she is a friend, and I am so grateful to be working under such a talented person. If you are looking for someone to guide you and collaborate with you, then you need to look no further. Thank you Terri for all you do, you are a blessing.
Sincerely,

A Parents Perspective:
One of the great challenges of parenting a young performing artist is knowing when and how to
provide support. Reaching out to Terri via her website, and then by phone, has been one of the
best choices we have made. Terri has been integral to our son’s development and growth as an
artist.
She initially worked with him on a competition monologue set, which ended up receiving
“Excellent” scoring at the Virginia Thespian Conference. Considering both monologues were
Shakespeare, this is quite an achievement. At the same time she prepared him for a difficult
audition, and then worked together during the rehearsal process. They also collaborated this
summer during his involvement in a musical. Currently they are working on his greatest
passion, performance magic art, helping in developing his stage voice and presence.
If you, or your child, is interested in further developing their art, we highly recommend that you
collaborate with Terri. She is a working professional, with extensive experience, and a
tremendous resource for anyone in the performing arts. We are thankful for Terri, and look
forward to what our son can achieve with her guidance.
Sincerely,
Laird and Kasey Williams (Parents of a Performing Artist)
